Owned by Sarah Petty*, a needleworker and crafter since childhood, Elizabeth Brooke was born from a funny dare between friends to enter the State Fair needlepoint competition.

An elder millennial with 20 years of experience in public education, Sarah found her niche in beginner needlepoint education on social media.

Elizabeth Brooke expanded in 2025 to include custom canvases and accessories, a design group collective, and a curated collection of canvases from well known and up and coming needlepoint designers.

In Summer 2026 we opened our brick and mortar store at University Place in Chapel Hill, NC.
